Focus on processing your feelings, and exploring your thoughts, attitudes or behaviours around a specific concern such as stress, anxiety, attention, relationships, school or work and learn more adaptive and healthy approaches for living. By utilizing various therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy, short term therapy can help you develop new skills and feel more confident.

Gain a deeper insight in to your emotions and behaviours in order to improve your

coping and make lasting change. If you are facing a transition (i.e. marriage, divorce, parenthood, retirement) or conflict in a relationship or career, or experiencing depression, anxiety, or trauma, psychotherapy can help you understand your inner emotional world and relieve emotional pain. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is an insight oriented modality which uses the therapeutic relationship to bring to light your unconscious thoughts, feelings, and motivations for behaviour which may be connected to your early/childhood experiences. It provides a safe and accepting environment for you to reflect and express yourself.

Loss is a part of many aspects of our life journey and mourning is a process of

accepting and adapting to the changes it brings which psychotherapy can support.

Psychotherapy can provide space for your to process your grief, reconcile the loss of

a significant person or an important change in your life, and consider how the loss effects various aspects of your life.

Fees: $150 per 50-minute in-office or Zoom session.

Cancellation policy: 24 hours notice required in advance of cancellation/rescheduling, to avoid being charged the full session fee.

Forms of payment accepted: Cash, cheque, e-transfer. Therapy by Registered Social Workers is often covered through Health Benefits if you have a private or workplace insurance plan. Direct client work provided by Social Workers is HST exempt
